About

At Tallahassee Compassion Project (TCP), our mission is simple: to provide compassionate, practical support to individuals experiencing homelessness in our community. We believe in the power of small, thoughtful actions to create meaningful change. Whether it’s through distributing care packs filled with essentials, raising awareness, or fostering understanding through education, we’re dedicated to making a positive impact—one act of kindness at a time.

Founded on the belief that everyone deserves dignity and support, TCP is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, fully recognized by the IRS and the state of Florida. We are a 100% volunteer-run initiative, meaning every donation goes directly to providing resources and assistance to those in need, ensuring that your support has a direct and meaningful impact.

What We Do

At TCP, we focus on three core areas:

Care Packs:

We assemble and distribute essential items—such as food, hygiene products, and supplies—to those experiencing homelessness in Tallahassee.

Education:

Our resources empower individuals to better understand homelessness, combat misconceptions, and take meaningful action in their own lives.

Community Engagement:

We encourage volunteers to join us in our mission, whether by assembling care packs, helping distribute resources, or spreading awareness in their own circles.

Our values

At the heart of TCP, we are guided by:

Compassion: Treating every person with dignity and respect.

Community: Fostering connection and collaboration to address homelessness together.

Action: Turning empathy into tangible support and advocacy.
